Job Description
We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to expertly manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across various social media platforms. This vital role requires a keen focus on maximizing Return on Investment (ROI) and ensuring all campaigns effectively meet specific client objectives, from awareness to conversion. Beyond technical campaign management—including budgeting, audience targeting, bidding, and continuous performance monitoring—you will also be responsible for the hands-on design and production of compelling ad creatives (both static and video). Your ability to combine strategic ad placement with high-quality visual execution will be key to campaign success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize all paid social media campaigns (ads) to ensure client objectives and maximum Return on Investment (ROI) are achieved.
- Lead the brainstorming and development of comprehensive ad strategies and marketing campaign ideas that align precisely with client needs and objectives.
- Present ad strategies and provide expert, data-driven recommendations to clients.
- Monitor ad performance daily, implementing continuous optimizations to improve targeting, bidding, engagement, and overall effectiveness.
- Analyze campaign metrics and generate detailed monthly reports to measure performance and provide data-driven insights for strategic improvement.
- Conduct thorough competitor analysis to identify opportunities and maintain a leading edge in industry trends.
- Design, create, and produce high-quality, compelling ad creatives (both static graphics and videos) that align with client brand identity and drive conversions.
- Craft persuasive and engaging copy for both paid advertisements and supporting organic content.
- Collaborate directly with clients to fully understand their goals and effectively incorporate them into the content and ad strategy.
- Maintain regular client communication, providing updates on ad performance and addressing any concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction.
- Plan and curate content calendars in advance, ensuring a consistent and steady flow of engaging content across all relevant social media platforms.
- Provide guidance and support to interns involved in social media activities.
Job Requirements
- Solid foundational knowledge of social media marketing, platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome; hands-on experience with social media marketing and ad platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of graphic design, photo/video shooting, and editing is a plus; proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is beneficial.
- Minimum SPM holder; a diploma/degree in Marketing, Media, or Communications is beneficial.
- Exceptional creativity and visual design sensibility, strong communication skills, and the proven ability to multitask, solve problems, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin; proficiency in Malay is a bonus.
- Willingness to travel (including outstation travel), with immediate availability preferred.
