Job Description

We are looking for a Hospitality Service Intern who will be an essential member of our mobile operations team, directly responsible for ensuring exceptional client satisfaction from initial interaction through final service delivery. This role is crucial for maintaining our brand standards in flexible settings and requires a candidate who thrives on adaptability, efficiency, and professional execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and accurately process client orders using standard point-of-sale (POS) systems, ensuring precise understanding of product specifications and custom requests.
  • Maintain a high standard of professional and friendly communication with all clients/guests, proactively addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive service experience.
  • Inform clients of daily specials, promotional items, and service options to enhance sales and product visibility.
  • Execute the preparation of requested items (e.g., assembly of food, mixing beverages) following strict quality control and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct final checks on all prepared items to ensure presentation and quality standards are met before service delivery.
  • Deliver prepared orders to clients/guests in a timely, accurate, and professional manner, adhering to established service timelines.
  • Manage and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service station, preparation areas, and seating areas to support efficient workflow.
  • Assist in daily inventory checks, restock materials and supplies, and communicate low stock levels to supervisory staff to prevent service interruption.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations during product preparation and service execution.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients/guests and team members in fast-paced, high-volume settings (e.g., event crowds, night markets).
  • Proven ability to rapidly assimilate new operational procedures and excel in diverse work settings, including temporary event setups, outdoor market environments, and professional cloud kitchen facilities.
  • Strong attention to detail necessary for accurately taking complex orders and preparing items strictly according to established quality and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods and perform light lifting (up to 20 lbs) required for setting up/breaking down mobile service stations and transporting supplies.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize efficiently, and maintain composure during peak service hours to meet stringent delivery timelines.
  • Must possess the ability and willingness to travel frequently to various event venues, night market locations, and the central cloud kitchen throughout the month, often on short notice.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, consistent with event and night market operating hours.
  • Must currently hold, or be willing to immediately obtain, any mandatory local food handler or hygiene certifications required for preparation roles.
