Client Relations Intern
Job Description
We are looking for a Client Relations Intern to gain direct, hands-on experience in communication, client management, and sales. This role is crucial in supporting our client-facing operations, where you will regularly assist with answering incoming client inquiries, ensuring timely and helpful responses to maintain high satisfaction. Crucially, you will also actively participate in proactive outreach, which involves identifying and connecting with potential clients, and contribute to client pitches and presentations. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn the entire business development cycle, from initial contact and effective communication strategies to nurturing relationships and securing new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the team by serving as a point of contact to answer incoming client inquiries, feedback, and concerns across various channels in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the resolution of client issues and complaints efficiently to help ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Help build and maintain client relationships through professional communication and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate internal teams for the scheduling of calls or meetings with potential clients.
- Actively participate in proactive outreach and engage with potential clients to understand their business goals and needs.
- Support the development of proposals by collaborating with the Social Media Team to gather content and customize persuasive presentations.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and presentations used for client meetings.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and the company’s services.
- Track and report on client interactions, feedback, and conversion rates to support team analysis.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
- Continuously expand knowledge of digital marketing and social media trends, as well as the company’s service offerings.
Job Requirements
- Open to candidates with no prior experience; working experience in sales, digital marketing, or social media is an advantage.
- Keen understanding of the latest social media trends and emerging platforms.
- Knowledge and experience in digital marketing and social media are considered a plus.
- Minimum SPM holder; current enrollment or background in Advertising, Marketing, Business, or Communications is beneficial.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, with proven ability to multitask, solve problems, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin; proficiency in Malay is a bonus.
- Commitment to an internship period of a minimum of three months is preferred.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients when required.
